My kids play Football in Denmark. So it also arrived to talk about my courses at DBU and my journey a bit...
How to start? You need to be registered at DBU, and then you can research the courses.
I cannot tell everything.... that is the rule... :D :D :D

One of the most exciting experiences I had was digging into the catalogs in the Amsterdam Archives in 2016. I was looking for more data about my merchant family in the 19th century, who regularly visited Amsterdam. I learned about so many amazing people in a short time.
Even just the catalogs are magical...
Why more?
Every time, before I got my visa to New Zealand, I had to talk with officers from La Hague.
Why more?
I have a few more people to mention, like a Dutch mentor from the University of Copenhagen.
A Polish-Dutch Art PhD person who graduated from the London Art Academy. She was pregnant at the same time, like me, and we gave birth on the same week...
What helped to get to understand the logic?
Mentalization on what Arne Slot would do in Liverpool F.C.
What was the first course I took?
It was connected with cards! The referee's cards :)))

1. Instructie assistent-scheidsrechters = Instructions for assistant referees
The aim of the module is:
To learn about your role as an assistant referee. You will learn about your contact with the referee and how you position yourself towards the teams. You will learn about your tasks in the match and you will learn what resistance is and how to deal with it.
2. Mentale weerbaarheid scheidsrechters = Mental resilience of referees
About the course:
Participants go through a digital competition day and gain insight into the different choices they can make to prevent resistance.
Your role as referee together with the players you are responsible for a sporting match. As a referee, you play a serving role together with the assistants to make that possible.
In this way, you contribute to a sporting competition that takes place according to the rules, in a pleasant atmosphere and without incidents.
How to do that, you will learn in this online course. We start with an exercise. On the next screen, you will see a video about an important phase of a match.
And at the contacts you make with all the people involved in the match: the people in the boardroom, the assistants, the captains and coaches, and the players on the field. We start with the way you approach people in everyday life.
Because I cut out a piece of my mother's pink silk dress, when I was less than 6 years old to make a beautiful dress for my Barbie. The dress was from Belgium. It was or still an issue...
My excuse was that a designer needs the best material. I wanted my Barbie to be as beautiful as my mother was in her dress :))))
Why more?
Because one of the main sponsors for the Royal Belgian FA is ING Bank.
Source: https://www.ing.be/
Why was it important?
As my ING Bank card was one of the reasons I survived Paris in 2014! Already it had a very high security system, plus several levels of activation options...

2. Het opleiden van spelers U14-U21 = Training players U14-U21
In football, too, everything starts with the basics. What are the do's and don'ts of the football coach in the upper grades? What is important during the training and the match of the U14-U21? How can I organize a fun, active training where the players learn? How do I respond to their expectations and link this to a curriculum? Voetbal Vlaanderen is proud of the different game formats in youth football (2vs2 to 11vs11). The different age categories play various match formats, based on the development level of the child. In this way, every child gets the chance to play football at his/her level. These provide more and better learning moments. As a coach, parent, player, supporter, manager and club referee, you can follow the e-learning about the rules of the format of your choice here. You can of course also view all other formats.
👨🎓👩🎓 For all coaches, parents, players, supporters, managers, club referees and coordinators who want to learn the correct rules of each format.
📚 Learning objectives:
• Learn all the basic rules for the 2v2 and 3v3 formats
• Which basic rule does or does not apply to a certain format.
• Role and responsibilities of the referees
4. Het opleiden van spelers U6-U9 = Training U6-U9 players
In football too, everything starts with the basics. What are the do's and don'ts of the football coach in the lower grades? What is important in the different game formats (2v2, 3v3, 5v5) during the training and the match of the U6-U9? How can I organize a fun, active training where the children learn? How do I respond to the expectations of those children?
👨🎓👩🎓 For all coaches and coordinators who want to help and support other coaches in their training.
📚 Learning objectives:
• As a trainer, offer fun, active, and educational training and matches to the youngest age categories

This is a certificate that I finished an introductory course from the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio, the Italian Football Federation to protect kids in football.

It was an Udemy course with Sam Farmer.
Title: Coaching Kids Soccer 101
https://www.udemy.com/share/102bQE/
The aim of the course:
- Know the basics of coaching kids and your own kid
- Build a team to have fun practices and successful games
- Select or create a season-long training curriculum
- Motivate parents
Why did I do it?
As you know recently I started a new volunteering position to coach kids football in my younger son's group.
I started to play some level of football when I was young, my father taught me. He taught my sister as well. In primary school, we had football classes, and I was a member of the handball team, then for a short time the athletic team, but my favorite was inline skating.
In 2023 Summer, our older son started with the summer one-week camp, then the semester, then the 2024 Summer one-week camp, semester again, and he has already registered for the 2025 Summer camp as well.
Our younger son started this year in March his official football training, so it is his second semester.
I wanted to take it more seriously to be a volunteer coach, so I started to look for several courses and certificate programs, check out a lot of books, and create a new IG for promoting coaching and football.
Nope, it was not in 2024, but in 2016, when I was just dreaming about my future kids...
Why do I post this picture here?
As I wear an Italian and Hungarian crystal leather armband, it will give a lot of meaning soon in the next post... and how football is so important...
PS. distraction is important :D :D :D
Nah, what was the next Football related course I took from UDEMY? It is not chronological, but source origin order... how I list the different football courses, I finished and took.
Next UDEMY course with Chris King
:D :D :D :D :D CR7? Or Christian the 4th?
You will figure it out when you start to study :D :D :D

I have a lot of more UDEMY courses around sports, later you can hear about them.
As a young child, I grew up with my maternal grandparents as my parents were busy studying at the medical university. I was not the only child in Hungary who had this family life track.
I had a lot of old friends, millions of grandmothers and grandfathers around me.
If you think that my grandparents were less busy than my parents, you are wrong.
What was the difference?
They had more nerve...
Why? My grandparents survived WWII. I was the second generation to be raised by them.
When did I hear first time, kick the ball, and run?
In my grandparents' garden.
Who told it to me?
My grandmother.
Yes, Faktis, mothers and grandmothers, it is you! It is you who are responsible for starting your kids' sports activity.
